Sexual Assault and Abuse Victim Empowerment Program (SAAVE) - Westchester, NY
Volunteered as a night-shift victim advocate for victims of sexual assault and abuse presenting for forensic rape exam at Westchester Medical Center Emergency Department and as a night-shift lethality assessment program member assessing domestic violence victims presenting to police screened as high risk for death and/or serious injury for an average of 15-20 nights monthly.
Organized student outreach, sexual history and trauma-informed care workshops, and guest speakers as SAAVE x NYMC club president.
Up to date NYS certification in rape crisis counseling, including 10 hours/year of continuing education.

Contracted by emergency department physician group as part of workflow optimization team to improve physician efficiency by rooming patients, preparing charts, optimizing patient sequencing, and performing other non-clinical tasks to optimize key efficiency-related metrics, such as door-to-physician time, patient length of stay, and patient throughput (increased by 2x per physician on average).
Programmed automated patient diagnostics print function plugin for MEDITECH EHR that replaced built-in multi-step printing workflow to reduce patient visit length by an average of 60s per patient and provide standardized and readability-enhanced documents for improved physician use and increased patient health literacy.
